Join The Council Organizational Members: All organizations operating in the field of natural resource conservation that have 501 (c) (3), (4) or (6) IRS status are encouraged to apply for membership in the Council. Council staff will prepare your organization's application and submit it to the Board of Directors for approval. Our member organizations pay annual dues based on their operating budget. [Become an Organizational Member] Affiliate Members: Organizations and groups that do not have the above IRS status but are involved in conservation and would benefit from access to Council programs may be eligible for non-voting membership in the Council. Affiliate Members receive all Council benefits with the exception of eligibility to compete for Awards of Achievement. Supporter Members: Any individual may be a supporter member of the Council. We currently have nearly 100 individuals who use their membership to take advantage of our many member benefits, as well as to keep in touch with old colleagues and make new contacts within the community.
